Higher Power Wellness Community
1 ) Why do I have to commit to three months in order to join the community?
Committing to at least three months is the best way to realize all the benefits the Community has to offer. Here’s why: A) There is a learning curve involved in starting any new practice or program. Everyone needs time to adjust schedules, integrate new practices, form new habits, etc. Not allowing enough time for this natural process to evolve will create frustration, impatience, and ultimately giving up - on either yourself or what the community has to offer. I have tremendous faith that both are worth the time! B) None of the practices and strategies offered in the Community are a “one and done” approach. Repetition of material, consistent practice of skills, and continued attention and intention are what will bring results. C)The information is presented in a systematic way. Only one month’s worth of material is not going to equip you with the knowledge and strategies that will serve your progress best. D) There is a wealth and depth of information available. If one tries to take it all in too fast, it will either overwhelm or simply not be digested. You’re worth the time to take small bites and digest fully before being introduced to more.
2 ) Can I quit anytime after the initial three months?
Yes. Your membership will be automatically renewed on the same day each month until you cancel your membership. If you chose the 3 Month Option, your membership will automatically renew every three months until you cancel.
3 ) How do I cancel or change my membership?
If you chose the 3 Month option, you can change your subscription to renew month-by-month by going to your
4 ) Do you offer services on holidays?
A) Each national (United States) holiday will be observed in some way. I will inform the Community how live offerings will either be modified or canceled those days. B) There will be no live offerings from December 21st - January 1st. Recordings will be offered. C) I will take at least one week of vacation each year where I will not be available via email or other. The community will be informed on cancellations, modifications, and available recordings.
5 ) Do you offer refunds?
I’ll only consider refunds in extreme extenuating circumstances, i.e hospitalization or other tragedy soon after joining. Please reach out to me via email if this is the case. Otherwise, there is so much information and practices to engage with and benefit from within the community. Dive in, and take advantage!
Wellness Coaching & Mentoring Services
1 ) Does the free consultation obligate me to purchase a coaching package?
Not at all. It’s a risk free chance for you to discern if the coaching process will serve your needs.
2 ) Do I have to purchase a full package, or can I just schedule one session at a time?
The coaching packages are designed to offer the best value - both financially and in outcomes. When you commit to the process, you increase your personal investment and chances for success. However, you’re welcome to schedule one session at a time if that better fits your needs.
3 ) Do you offer payment plans for packages?
Absolutely. Just ask, and I’ll offer three different options.
4 ) How is coaching different from therapy?
The coaching relationship is a co-creative relationship. Think of literally learning a new sport, instrument, or art technique. You already arrive with the talent, desire, and inner resources to improve, but the coach offers tips, suggestions, practices, fundamentals, etc. that enhance what you already have. All while providing support, encouragement and relatability. In a nutshell - I see therapy as more talking, coaching as more doing.
5 ) Is mentoring part of the coaching relationship?
Absolutely. All good coaches have experience with what they’re coaching. I can’t think of one basketball coach that didn’t play basketball, or one piano teacher that never played piano. The heart of coaching is teaching what one has learned and experienced first hand. But the art of coaching is holding that balance of offering support and encouragement while at the same time cultivating growth and improvement.
1 ) How is Reiki different from massage?
Massage is a physical healing modality. Reiki is an energetic healing modality. You will lie fully clothed on a massage table during your reiki session, however I will not massage, stretch, nor manipulate your muscles or joints. I might apply gentle pressure to an area, but only to enhance the energetic flow.
2 ) Am I engaging in a religious or spiritual practice by doing Reiki?
Only if you want it to be. The principles of reiki can be part of a religious or spiritual practice, but it does not require such in order to be a meaningful source of healing. If you recognize a higher power, it might be helpful to let me know how you prefer to acknowledge your higher power - God, Source, Holy Spirit, etc.
3 ) What can I expect during a session?
Everyone has a unique experience. The best thing to do is actually release all expectations and simply be open to what the session brings. Logistically, I’ll either hover hands over you, or gently lay hands on you - only in areas that you’re comfortable with. I will let my intuition be my guide as to where the focus should be. Like others, you might experience a deep sense of relaxation, feel warmth or coolness, see colors, notice areas of gripping or tension, notice a release, deepened or slowed breath, etc. or none of the above. Like I say, everyone has a unique experience where nothing is right or wrong. Just trust that your nervous system is relaxing, and what needs released is easily released.
4 ) Can I talk during a session?
Short answer: Yes. Long answer: In order to receive the full benefits, we want to cultivate a relaxing and introspective space which allows for self-awareness, intuition, and ease in the nervous system. Chit chatting and small talk doesn’t always serve this purpose. However, I recognize that we all utilize different coping skills and regulating strategies. If some small talk helps to ease anxiety, by all means chat away. I will also ask some questions during the session, and you’re encouraged to answer with as much detail as you’re comfortable.
5 ) What can I expect after a Reiki session?
Immediately after the session, we’ll have a few moments of ‘debriefing’ where you’re welcome to share anything about your experience and ask any questions. I will share a few insights and intuitions I gained during the session. After you leave the space, (if possible) I encourage you to journal, engage in prayer or meditation, spend time in nature, or just sit in quiet reflection. All of these are great ways to allow your benefits to be fully integrated. If an immediate return to the hustle and bustle is essential, I encourage you to do so mindfully - staying in the moment, paying attention to your breath, relaxed jaw, etc.Post session, I will also provide a document for you detailing some common feelings and experiences you might have. Remember that everyone responds differently.
6 ) How often can I have a Reiki session?
This is different for everyone. I really like how one client described her experience, “It’s like I returned to myself.” Whenever you’re feeling disconnected from yourself, disconnected in relationships, or disconnected in general, that’s a great time to book an appointment regardless of when your last session was.
