Participation and your own health

You take part in physical practices at your own risk and are responsible for working within your own limits. Tell Michelle about injuries, pregnancy, or conditions that affect your movement. Yoga students complete an informed consent before their first class.

Booking, payment and cancellation

Prices shown on this site are current at the time of publication and may change. Payment is accepted by cash, check or Venmo (@HigherPowerHealth). The retreat has its own terms, below.

Canceling a session. To cancel or reschedule a one-to-one session — coaching, reiki or private yoga — please give at least 12 hours’ notice. If you’ve paid in advance, sessions canceled with less notice than that are no longer eligible for a refund.

Class cards and packages. A 10-class card is valid for one year from purchase. Sessions left on a coaching package stay valid for six months after your most recent session.

Retreat deposit, cancellation and refunds

A $300 deposit holds your place and counts toward the price of The Immersive Wellness Retreat. It is non-refundable for any reason. The balance is due once your dates are booked. Your stay is booked through Airbnb, and any refund for the stay follows the listing’s Airbnb cancellation policy; the refunds below cover what you’ve paid Higher Power Health.

If you cancel, counting back from the first day of your retreat:

• 60 days or more — a full refund, less the $300 deposit.
• 30 to 59 days — a refund of half of what you’ve paid beyond the deposit.
• 14 to 29 days — a refund of 20% of what you’ve paid beyond the deposit.
• Fewer than 14 days — no refund.
• No-shows and early departures — no refund, including for unused lodging, meals or sessions.

Rescheduling. Cancel 14 days or more before your retreat and you can reschedule once instead, with everything you’ve paid held toward the new dates. A second change is treated as a cancellation. In extreme circumstances — a flight canceled by weather, a stay in hospital — you’ll receive full credit toward new dates. A rescheduled retreat must take place within six months of your original booking.

Transfers. You can transfer your booking to someone else up to 14 days before your retreat.

If Michelle cancels for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund or full credit toward new dates. This doesn’t cover flights, or lodging booked elsewhere.

Refunds go back the way you paid, usually within 10 to 14 business days. Banks can take longer.

Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, images, handouts and course material — belongs to Higher Power Health, LLC unless stated otherwise, and is for your personal use. Please don’t reproduce or redistribute it commercially without permission.

Acceptable use

Don’t use this site unlawfully, attempt to disrupt it, or attempt to gain access to systems or data you have no right to.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Higher Power Health, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.
